Bridgette Blebu says her fifth year was a little easier thanks to a Chancellor’s Club Fellowship, which provided her with a $12,000 stipend over the final two quarters of her doctoral program.

Nursing student Trang Truong’s scholarship alleviated some of the stress that comes with being a first-generation, low-income student. After graduating, she plans to work in a field that supports women with chronic illnesses.

“We traveled around California to a lot of different UC-owned and protected natural reserves,” Kyle Suen says. “It was a really cool experience that I was actually only really able to do because of the scholarships I got.”
