If you lived the American dream, you now have an unparalleled opportunity to ensure a new generation can experience it, too. Through scholarship support, you can give both current and future generations of students the chance to take full advantage of their college experience – and even graduate with little or no student debt, just as generations before them did.

These flagship scholarships are offered to highly recruited students based on both merit and need. When UCI doubled the value of the Regents Scholarships, it led to a five-fold increase in the number of students accepting their offer to attend UCI. But UCI will require a significant boost in philanthropic support to maintain this level of funding for future classes.
Named endowed scholarships create a perpetual stream for scholarship funding that pays itself forward exponentially – as each student whose life you impact graduates and makes their individual contributions to the world. The naming opportunity also gives you, your family or business, recognition for a gift that continually supports a current student on their educational journey.
A growing number of students now rely on summer school to complete their degree within four years. Graduating on time means taking on less debt and starting a well-paid job that much sooner. A privately funded summer school scholarship program would boost UCI’s already impressive on-time graduation rate to 75 or 80 percent.
